Brockbank Syndicate Management’s property account will be written in consortium between Syndicates 861, 588 and 1209 from the start of the New Year as part of an efficiency drive.

The new arrangement means brokers will have a single point of contact for Brockbank’s four main areas of property expertise: US Fortune 500, North American and International MGA, UK and International Property and Multi-National Property.

Martin Reith, active underwriter at Syndicate 861 said: “In a fast-moving marketplace, we are keen to respond to the needs of our brokers and clients. We believe the consortium arrangement will bring benefits to all the parties.”

The announcement comes hard on the heels of the decision by Brockbank to write its Marine Hull and Ports account by consortium from September this year.
