Welsh broker George Williams joins BNIB and a new member joins the network

Broker Network has announced the acquisition of commercial insurance brokers George Williams Insurance Services.

George Williams, based in Denbigh, has been a member of Broker Network for three years and will retain its brand identity, premises and staff. It is joining Broker Network Insurance Brokers, the group’s UK wide retail operation.

The cost of the acquisition is undisclosed, but the group confirmed that the acquisition is broadly in line with the other similar acquisitions made to date.

Grant Ellis, chief executive of Broker Network said today: “We are delighted to have completed this acquisition, the third in as many months, which is a reflection of our healthy acquisition pipeline. We would like to welcome George Williams to BNIB and trust it will continue to prosper as part of our consistently successful Group.”

Broker Network has also announced that Manning Insurance Services Ltd has joined the network.

Manning Insurance, based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, offers a wide portfolio ofgeneral commercial insurance products, with a specialisation in automotive based industries and in particular handling Motor Trade, Chauffeur and Funeral Directors schemes business.
