David Cross switches to Close from Homerserve
Close Premium Finance has appointed David Cross as IT director.
Cross, who has more than 25 years’ insurance industry experience, took up the position in December having previously held a similar role at Homeserve.
Close said the appointment follows a strong period of growth, following the acquisitions of competitors Amber Credit, Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander, and the run off of Aascent.
Cross said: “Close enjoys a strong reputation as a market leader and innovator, is stable and financially secure, and committed to developing its products and services over the long term.
"I’m joining at a great time, as the company plans to develop and upgrade its systems to meet the market needs of tomorrow.”
