Graham Dick named director of professional risks division

London-based broker Cooper Gay has hired ex-Jardine Lloyd Thompson broker Graham Dick (pictured) as director of its professional risks division.

In his new role, Dick will target financial institutions business emanating from the UK, Europe and offshore jurisdictions.

He will report to Cooper Gay managing director of special risks Dan Barton.

While at JLT, Dick managed a book of professional risks business mainly focused on the UK and Europe.

Barton said: “We recognise that clients and markets alike are continually raising the bar regarding what they expect from their broker. We aim to exceed those expectations; Graham’s knowledge and experience will contribute significantly to those aims.”

Cooper Gay is the UK operation of global broking group Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
