Four-year deal reinforces Fortis's position as third largest private motor insurer

Fortis has been appointed lead insurer on M&S Money’s motor panel in a four- year deal.

The deal will further strengthen the insurer’s presence in the affinity market, reinforcing its position as third largest private motor insurer in the UK.

Steve Price, general insurance manager at M&S Money, said: “Fortis has strong underwriting credentials and a proven track record on its motor offering and claims handling operation.

"This is key to enable us to provide our customers with high quality cover that is synonymous with the M&S brand.”

Peter Winslow, chief executive lof Budget Group, said: The strength of the M&S brand, combined with Junction and Fortis’s experience in the insurance industry, will help us build on the success to date.”

The ddeal was arranged by Junction, a leading affinity insurance provider.
