Deal with Belgian government and BNP Paribas on the table
Fortis has has started renegotiating its deal with the Belgian government and BNP Paribas follwing publication of an interim report from its committee of experts
The experts recommended that several significant elements of the agreements made on 3, 5 and 6 October 2008 be renegotiated.
Fortis said it would not comment further during these negotiations.
