TCF director to step down "later this year"

Sarah Wilson, director of treating customers fairly for the Financial Services Authority, has resigned from the regulator.

An FSA spokesperson confirmed that she had given a long notice period and was stepping down "later this year", but that she would continue in her role till then. The spokesperson said Wilson had resigned for personal reasons.

Wilson was appointed a director at the FSA in April 2002. Besides her TCF role, Wilson was also the sector leader across the FSA. The FSA said it was currently hunting for a replacement.
