Bank offers 300p a share

HBOS has made a 300p a share offer for Erinaceous, which would value the property specialist at £320m.

According to reports, Erinaceous has agreed to allow due diligence following the indicative offer. Erinaceos confirmed today that discussions were ongoing with a potential bidder.

HBOS's private equity arm has bought a series of property companies.
