Towergate Underwriting Group
has moved its three London operations under one roof in Aldgate Street.
The offices will accommodate Towergate Stafford Knight, Byas Mosley (UK) and Towergate Commercial Property Underwriting.
Some 200 staff moved to the new premises on May 1.
Windsor posts profit rise
Broker Windsor posts a 75% rise in pre-tax profit to £914,000 in the first half of 2001, compared to £521,000 the year before. Brokerage and fees were up 7% to £6,349,000.
David Low, chairman, said that he anticipated further progress in the second half as market conditions improved and B2Binsured – Windsor's e-commerce insurance broker extranet – was launched.
Family affairs mixed up
Last week, Insurance Times reported on a story about Advent Capital Holdings. It said that BF Caudle Agencies was its parent company, when in fact Advent is the parent of BF Caudle.
