Towergate’s Peter Cullum scoops industry achiever award; Aviva is general insurer of the year
Towergate founder and non-executive deputy chairman Peter Cullum scooped the Industry Achiever of the Year Award at tonight’s Insurance Times Awards, held at the Battersea Evolution in London.
This year’s Insurer Chief Execs’ Chief Exec of the year award was handed to Sabre’s Keith Morris and Aon’s Rob Brown picked up the Broker Chief Execs’ Chief Exec honour.
Hosted by radio and TV presenter Vernon Kay, awards also went to Aviva (general insurer of the year), Ageas (personal lines insurer of the year) and Aon (national broker of the year).
Editor-in-chief Ellen Bennett said: “The Insurance Times Awards are always the highlight of the year – and this year was no different. 2011 was our biggest event yet, and I would like to congratulate all our hugely deserving winners and thank everyone here tonight for being a part of it.”
