Specialist insurer graduates from AIM.

Lancashire, the Bermuda-based speciality insurer, has announced plans to list on the London Stock Exchange.

The insurer launched on AIM three years ago, and has a market capitalisation of £525m.

Chief executive Richard Brindle told the Financial Times would open up Lancashire to a broader range of investors, and create more liquidity in the shares. He said: "We will be open to a much bigger universe of investors, and that has to offer us more flexibility."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
