New appointment as affinity head retires after 30 years

LV= has appointed Michele Alcock as head of affinity relations within its Partnership Business.

Michele will be responsible for managing relationships with the LV= affinity partners and the Frizzell brand, which over the last 80 years has developed relationships with numerous affinity groups such as trade unions and leisure organisations.

Alcock brings a wealth experience to the role with 23 years’ industry experience and an in depth knowledge of the Society’s affinity business.


Mark Myers, director of Partnership Relations at LV= said: “I am delighted to announce Michele’s appointment in this key role. Michele has a proven track record of building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our affinity groups and played a significant part in achieving a groundbreaking 25 year relationship agreement with the csma.”

Alcock is taking over the role from Howard Paine, who retires later this year after 30 years’ service with LV=.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
