New appointments to drive public sector push at Marsh

Marsh has appointed six risk specialists to its UK public sector practice. The team will support the public sector practice’s new business development strategy and customer relationship programme.

Bob Ellison joins Marsh as a business risk consultant to help clients analyse, develop and deliver bespoke solutions to their various risk consulting needs. In this national role, Ellison will also play a pivotal part in the Practice’s R&D, addressing new risk needs emerging from within the public sector.

Milan Milovanovic joins Marsh from Hertz, where he was the European and Middle East Risk and Insurance Manager. Milovanovic will focus on developing business in the southern region and act as a client executive on selected accounts. He was previously employed in the insurance team of a London borough and is an incumbent elected councillor.

Cliffe Crowther has been appointed to head the Practice in the North of England and Scotland. Based in Manchester, Crowther, who brings extensive experience of risk issues in the higher education sector, will assume a client executive role for key clients in the North West of England. Crowther was previously the Client Service Director for Manchester at Marsh.

Karim Sharrif joins as a Client Executive for central government, local authority and emergency services clients in London and the Home Counties. Sharrif joins Marsh from Aon, having previously worked at JLT.

Julia Smith joins the Cardiff client advisory team from housing association Seren Group and will handle technical queries from our clients across the Southern Practice, as well as broking renewals and associated administration.

Craig Murray has been appointed as Risk Executive for the Northern Region. Murray will work alongside clients’ risk and insurance managers to help identify and address risk management issues.
