The horrific explosion at Stockline Plastics, Glasgow in May has been subject to a criminal investigation in recent weeks. Sources at Marsh said that its team was on site and working around the police's investigation.
The job will be difficult because it seems the police investigation is being administered in a similar style to the Lockerbie crash investigation. When the plane exploded in 1988, pieces were scattered across the countryside and the forensic teams had to reconstruct the whole plane, piece by piece.
In a similar vein, the factory is being reconstructed on site to isolate the cause of the explosion.
