KnowledgeCenter, a provider of knowledge management products, has appointed applications management company Melstar UK as a partner for its "Lexis" product in the London Insurance Market.
Lexis is a knowledge development "environment" that consists of four main modules: electronic document management, project/workspace collaboration, workflow/business process automation and data and application integration.
The new partnership has already secured its first client, international broker PWS Group.
PWS finance director Peter Chapman said: "We looked long and hard at what our group's strategic needs were, particularly with regard to our overseas plans, and I am pleased we have found a product, Lexis, and an integrator, Melstar, with the right credentials."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
