Performance and classic car policies for specialist brokers
Midas Underwriting has announced the launch of two non-standard personal motor products for performance cars and classic sports cars.
Access to the products will be restricted to specialist brokers who have substantial expertise within the non-standard market.
The modern performance car policy is aimed at a wide range of sports cars including Japanese imports. The product will quote for a broad range of modifications and can provide cover for track days.
The classic policy is available for sports cars that are a minimum of 15 years old and cover a maximum annual mileage of 6,000km.
Midas Group managing director Alan Hunter said: “We believe that our underwriting footprint, flexibility and understanding of this specialist market will ensure that these new products complement our highly successful household book, cementing our position as a leading provider of non-standard personal lines insurance products within the broker market.”
