Lloyd's managing agency SVB Syndicates has launched a service company.

SVB Underwriting Services (SVBUS) will provide direct access to the business classes underwritten by the SVB syndicates under delegated authority schemes.

Anita Hawkes, SVBUS's newly appointed communications manager, said: “SVBUS aims to provide UK and overseas brokers with simplified access to a number of schemes underwritten by the SBV syndicates. In addition to specific classes of

business, we are also keen to look at innovative product and scheme ideas from our brokers.”

SVBUS has already been instrumental in the development and launch of “Nannycare”, a combined protection package for nannies and a home protection policy for home working professionals.

SVB Holdings has £452m Lloyd's capacity.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
