’On behalf of the board and everyone at R&Q, I want to thank him for everything he has contributed,’ says chairman
R&Q Insurance Holdings has confirmed that cofounder Alan Quilter has retired.
In March 2023, R&Q announced that Quilter would retire from the board of directors and his most recent position as group head of programme management at the end of the year.
A statement released today (2 January 2024) confirmed that Quilter stepped down on 31 December 2023, although would stay on in an advisory capacity for a period of time.
Jeff Hayman, chairman of R&Q, said: “On behalf of the board and everyone at R&Q, I want to thank Alan for everything he has contributed.
“It is over 30 years since Alan cofounded R&Q and he has been instrumental in the group’s history.”
Roles
