Three say they'll quit over cuts

Five AIG executives have threatened to quit in a row over reduced pay packages. The executives fear that White House pay tsar Ken Feinberg will reduce their pay in his next round of cuts to be announced within a fortnight. AIG has received $182bn (£111bn) in government support.

Three executives based in the USA threatened to quit, while two more were understood to have handed in their notices last weekend – but then changed their minds.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
