Property repair network Multiassistance has launched a client extranet, which is claimed to reduce the average time taken from claim notification to repair completion by more than 10%.
Multiaccess is a real-time, web-enabled tool that allows insurers to view all information connected with a claim.
Multiassistance's sales and marketing director James Grant said: “By putting all information, from claim notification through to invoicing, at the insurer's fingertips, administration time is significantly reduced.
"This will speed up the whole process by more than 10%, mostly by simplifying the authorisation process of claims above delegated authority.
"The time savings will have a great impact on insurers' customer service levels, and ultimately their client retention.”
