Provident Insurance's business development director Mark Thomson has resigned to pursue other opportunities, insurancetimes.co.uk can reveal.
Thomson departed in the last two weeks after four years at the firm.
A spokeswoman for the company confirmed the departure and said there were a number of other personnel changes under way at the firm which would be announced shortly.
No direct replacement for Thomson has yet been named.
Provident was acquired by French mutual insurance group Covea, the parent company of MMA Insurance, in April.
