Manwaring hired to grow surety business
QBE has appointed Steve Manwaring as UK surety manager.
He will join QBE in the New Year and report to Trevor Williams, head of credit and surety europe.
Manwaring worked previously at Svenska Handelsbanken.
Williams said: “QBE’s commitment to the surety market is reinforced by this appointment.
“Steve’s experience will not only strengthen our presence in the UK but as a member of the leadership team he will also work to increase our European capability.”
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
