Current director of casualty international and professional and financial lines has 27 years experience of working at the syndicate

David Harries, QBE

QBE has promoted David Harries to the role of active underwriter for Syndicate 386.

Harries currently works as director of casualty international and professional and financial lines for QBE’s syndicate and company operations. He will take on this new role in addition to his existing responsibilities.

QBE deputy chief executive Richard Pryce said: “David has been an integral part of Syndicate 386’s success story and is highly regarded by both internal and external stakeholders. 

“David will bring a wealth of experience to the role, which he will perform alongside his current responsibilities, assisted by a management team, all of whom have worked with the syndicate for many years.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
