Hayward has nearly 30 years’ operational investigative experience including over 10 years with Kent Police. He brings a proven track record of delivery on insurance fraud investigations which have produced substantial savings for clients, according to QuestGates.

QuestGates counter fraud director John Freeeman said: “With fraud costing the insurance industry £2.1bn last year according to the National Fraud Authority, we have to give our clients access to specialist skills as they seek to combat this growing problem.

However at QuestGates, we’re not just looking for people with a strong investigative experience. Our strategy is to recruit those can bring additional specialist skills to our counter fraud capabilities.”

He adds: “Robin has extensive practical knowledge of locks and physical security and so brings additional strength to our team when it comes to investigating alleged forced entry.

QuestGates has more than doubled the size of its counter fraud division since its launch just under a year ago and plans further developments throughout the course of 2011.
