Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) has announced a deal with Swinton to offer pet insurance to its customers.

According to R&SA, the pet insurance market is experiencing strong growth in the UK because of rising veterinary costs.

Commenting on the deal, Kevin Roberts, broker business manager at R&SA, said: "It's very exciting to be working with Swinton to develop their pet product. This is the first major move into the pet insurance broker market for R&SA using the skills we have learnt through selling pet insurance via MORE TH>N."

Chris Collings, insurer development director at Swinton, said, "Pet insurance is an increasingly important sector of the personal lines market and Swinton are pleased to be able to offer this attractive proposition to our customers."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
