Thanks for the comments. To try to add some clarity:

The service is a white label web site per each broker. There's no need for them to have their own.

It's not about local brokers competing for the same volume online with say the Aggregators or direct writers it’s about giving a tool to a broker to develop leads and opportunities via the web in their region.

We don’t expect or advise any of our brokers to bid on Google for “business insurance” this is a very quick way for them to burn cash! We would advise them to consider bidding for “Insurance Broker in Mansfield” as an example. Different cost, different type of customer.

What’s better we will teach them how a local presence can be leveraged online economically and effectively.

To answer the “what do carriers think?” question, well our initial discussions are very positive. We are giving them access to local broking markets with no significant cost and no credit risk. So it’s perhaps not surprising they are supportive.
