Crawford has been able to incorporate innovations such as Viscat into an integrated subsidence claims management system that leaves experts such as Ray Facer impressed.

New oedometer test methods have been developed, the Viscat computerised remote assessment tools created and these are all linked to NetRate - a web-based scheduling system.

At the heart of the system is Subscape - a central technology unit based in Birmingham, which manages claims handling.

Crawford has increased revenues from £3.5m in 2002 to £8m at the end of 2004 financial year. And customer satisfaction rates have reached 82.3%. Between 2002 and 2004, Crawford has increased its market share from 15% to 25% in subsidence making it the second largest supplier in the market. We are delighted to have won the 2004 Service Provider of the Year Award.
