Sharon Brown is the founder and chief executive of the Pet and Equine Insurance Association (Peia), created to support a more sustainable future for pet and equine insurance.
Through her leadership of Peia, Brown brings together insurers, brokers, MGAs, veterinary stakeholders, animal welfare organisations, regulators and service providers to tackle shared challenges around affordability, access, claims, fraud, regulation and animal welfare.
Brown has worked in insurance for over three decades and has held senior executive, non-executive and advisory roles across the market. She is a former Managing General Agents’ Association board member and mentor, as well as being currently involved with Insurance United Against Dementia.
