New members to network division in 2010 boosted GWP by £100m
Towergate is pushing for record growth in its network division after promoting Scott Bennett to UK sales director for networks.
Bennett will be responsible for sales and business development teams across both Broker Network and Countrywide. Bennett was previously head of sales after switching from Towergate head office last year.
The networks division is targeting another record year of new members in 2011. This year it has signed up 76 brokers, adding £100m gross written premium. The division has more than 700 members overall.
This week Broker Network also revealed that its Network Trading Room for members has written almost £1.5m since it began trading in August.
Speaking about Bennett, Broker Network and Countrywide managing director Nick Houghton said: “Scott has gone from strength to strength, bringing persistence, passion and process to the sales team.”
