Four appointments in the South
Towergate has restructured its retail division in the south, replacing existing management with graduates from the Towergate Business School.
Joe Thelwell, 27, who has been appointed managing director of Towergate Risk Solutions in Poole, becomes the company’s youngest managing director.
Tony Gilpin will become managing director of Towergate Chapman Stevens, the company’s Surrey-based travel company advisory business.
Nick Hatch will head Towergate Risk Solutions, in north London, and Towergate GHBC, based in Hertfordshire.
Lee Davey replaces Nick Hatch as managing director in Taunton.
Paul Williams, Towergate’s regional managing director for the south, said: “This new team have been groomed to take on key roles within the business.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
