City & Suburban is first of several PMI acquisitions under consideration
Towergate acquired of Private Medical Insurance provider City & Suburban Health.
As part of the transaction, the current management and staff will be retained under the leadership of Lee Birch, the current Managing Director.
Established in 1997, City & Suburban focuses on the provision of PMI cover for UK small to medium commercial enterprises. Towergate said trhe acquisiotn would help build its position as a leading player in the PMI market.
Peter Cullum, Executive Chairman of Towergate said: “This is another great signing for Towergate. This is the first of several PMI acquisitions currently under discussion for completion this year and will help position Towergate Healthcare as a leading player in the PMI market.”
