Woodgate & Partners is the broker's latest acquisition

Towergate Partnership has announced the acquisition of Kent based insurance broking firm, Woodgate & Partners. Under the deal, all 29 staff and directors have made the move to Towergate. The team will continue to be led by chief executive John Harrison, based in Maidstone.

Established in 1972, Woodgate & Partners is a general commercial and financial services broker handling £8m GWP. The firm has a particular strength in affinity schemes for exhibitions, events, salons and beauticians and was granted approval as a Lloyds broker in 2007.

This acquisition also strengthens Towergate’s presence in Kent where it already has offices based in Maidstone, Sevenoaks and Whitstable.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
