RBS Insurance has appointed Gus Park as motor commercial director.
Park will advance the commercial interests of RBSI’s personal lines business, joining the personal lines executive team.
Park will report to Tom Woolgrove, managing director of personal lines.
Park originally joined RBSI earlier this year as strategy director, having spent the previous seven years working in retail banking for Bradford & Bingley in a wide range of senior roles in sales, product marketing and strategy.
Prior to that, Park was a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, having started his career in the civil service.
Woolgrove said: "In his role as strategy director, Gus has made a significant contribution in shaping the corporate strategy of RBS Insurance and he will bring extensive commercial, strategic and leadership skills to this critical role.
“Gus will concentrate on delivering compelling propositions to our motor customers whilst profitably growing our franchise and I am delighted that he is joining my leadership team at this crucial time.”
