Aviva is preparing to cut up to 900 jobs in Ireland, according to newspaper reports.

Aviva will eliminate or outsource a “very significant” number of Irish jobs, the report said, with up to 900 jobs under threat out of a total of 2,000.

Aviva told the Sunday Times that its review is “ongoing,” and that “any decision will be communicated to staff first.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
