Four appointments at Aviva

Aviva has made four appointments in its underwriting, pricing and products team.

Marc Chapman has been appointed head of personal lines underwriting and will be responsible for underwriting and pricing.

Chapman joined Aviva from KPMG’s non-life actuarial team.

David Hockey has been appointed head of underwriting strategy and vision.

Aviva has promoted Chris Hill to become head of commercial lines underwriting. Previously, Hill was head of underwriting for portfolio deals.

Scott Nunn has been appointed head of creditor and personal speciality.

Aviva chief underwriting officer Axel Schmidt said: “These appointments reflect our on-going commitment to putting underwriting at the centre of our business, and I am delighted to welcome Marc, David, Scott and Chris to their new roles.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
