Insurance broker 1st Quote has added an internet telephony system to its interactive website.
The service enables customers to speak to a broker while viewing the web page. It uses e-TeleLynk - a web-to-phone product from Better Online Solutions (BOS) in Leicester.
Customers can receive quotes online and then instigate a phone call to buy the product via an internet link. The technology is already used by several banks, including Abbey National and Barclays.
