Polaris, Biba and 24 7 have joined forces to create a set of commercial risk presentations to be used in the new Polaris E-Market Initiative.

The collaboration will enable insurers to complete a standard commercial presentation to insurers for certain classes of business.

Rarrigini & Rosso Group chief executive Julie Rodilosso said: "It took 24 7 Broking a long time to garner the information required to underwrite 32 different classes of commercial insurance and then program this into our 24 7 broking system.

"In working with Polaris and Biba we wanted to be part of the cause for standardisation and share our work with an industry initiative that would play a major part in shaping commercial risk presentations."

Polaris managing director Martin McLachlan said: "The joint work with 24 7 Broking and other market players has allowed us to begin compiling a standard common data capture set which will be acknowledged as being the minimum information required for presentation to underwriters."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
