History: Hiscox is a specialist insurance company and was first registered on the London Stock Exchange on 17 May 1901.

Biography: Fisher joined Hiscox in 1986 and originally wrote a multi-class account for Hiscox Syndicate 624 with a speciality in professional indemnity. In 1994, she began specialising in areas like information technology and media. She joined syndicate 33 in 1995 and, in 1998, she moved to set up a new commercial lines department.
