Biography:
Sian Fisher started her insurance career as a graduate trainee at Lloyd's broker, Marsh and joined Hiscox in 1991. From 1991 until the end of 1997 she was in charge of the professional indemnity, directors and officers and liability account for the Hiscox Group.

Seeking out new or emerging professions to help protect against a litigious environment, Fisher and her team specialise in media, technology and telecoms companies. In 1998 she moved to set up a new commercial lines department for Hiscox Insurance Company providing full package insurances, for professions and emerging professions. In November 1999 she became chief underwriting officer responsible for all business areas, adding high net worth personal lines, Hiscox Online and Hiscox's European underwriting to her responsibilities
