Monte Carlo Rendez-Vous delegates found themselves with little more than the clothes on their back when they arrived at Nice Airport last week.

About 50 passengers were left without their luggage at the beginning of the conference.

But it was Eurobase group sales and marketing director, Keith Henley, who had the biggest surprise. When he took "his" case back to his apartment, he discovered it was full of women's clothing.

Henley also ended up unintentionally sight-seeing in Monte Carlo, when he and Andrew Driver, managing director of Impact PR & Marketing, hailed a taxi to the Castle Ramparts for the Bermudian Cocktail party.

On arrival, the pair, who don't speak French, discovered the venue had been changed and were left stranded without transport at the top of the hill.

An hour later, the pair eventually flagged down a cab to arrive at the party just as it was ending – just 50 yards away from where they had started their journey.
