Fun at the Groupamafest
Achtung! Backchat recently spent a Friday afternoon sampling the delights of German culture – and plenty of beer. The location was the London Bierfest at Old Billingsgate market.
In not so unfamiliar scenes for a Friday in the City of London, Backchat joined the Groupama marketing team to sink litres of traditional Bavarian booze while being incongruously entertained with wartime hits such as We’ll Meet Again and (There’ll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover.
Nice touch. Luckily, there wasn’t a beach towel in sight.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
