Ace appoints UK marine boss

ACE Europe has appointed Mike Reynolds as marine manager for the UK & Ireland.

Reynolds will be responsible for managing ACE’s marine portfolio written outside of its London market operation through ACE Europe’s 11 regional and London offices.

Also under his management will be the traditional cargo product offered through the ACE Online system.

Previously, Reynolds was marine underwriter for ACE Global Markets.

He will now report to both Peter Seymour, senior vice president – marine, ACE overseas general and Richard Pryce, president, ACE UK.

Peter Seymour said: “Mike brings with him over 20 years of marine underwriting experience and I am confident that in this additional role he will continue to profitably expand our marine book of business in the UK and Ireland.”
