Brokers given access to Ace syndicate.
Ace Europe has extended broker access to its directors’ and officers’ (D&O) insurance portfolio by writing commercial D&O risks at Lloyd’s.
Commercial D&O is now available through the Ace Global Markets Syndicate 2488 for primary and excess covers on all commercial industry sectors.
This route will provide Ace’s brokers and clients with the option of Lloyd’s capacity if required.
Tom Lelapi, senior underwriter, directors’ and officers’ at Ace, said: “Current market conditions show how crucial access to responsive and strongly capitalised cover is for all businesses.
“Extending access to our D&O range through Lloyd’s is a further demonstration of Ace’s commitment to supporting brokers and their clients when they need it most.”
Ace will continue to write D&O business through its own trading floor at the Leadenhall Street office in the City, as well as at its UK regional offices.
