Reinsurer looks to sustain growth across Asia.
ACR Capital Holdings has announced three new appointments to its senior management team.
Ruediger Otto will be joining as chief operating officer of Asia Capital Reinsurance Group, the wholly owned subsidiary of ACR. Peter Hugger has been named chief marketing officer. Greg Crichton has been appointed chief legal and regulatory advisor of the Group.
Otto has close to 30 years experience in both the reinsurance and insurance industries and has vast experience spearheading key management strategies in Asia. Prior to joining ACR, he helped establish Swiss Re's Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong and was its chief underwriting officer of the Asia Pacific region.
Dr Hugger has 20 years of experience driving business development initiatives in the international reinsurance and insurance markets. He set up the Asia Pacific operations of a German software company catering to insurance and reinsurance businesses and was formerly the regional head and chief executive of Gerling Global Re's Singapore branch office, before moving to ACR.
Crichton brings to his new role 30 years of legal experience, particularly in the insurance industry. He was previously with American International Assurance as the executive vice President and general counsel, covering business development, legal and compliance responsibilities throughout the Asian region. He also sat on the boards of a number of AIG companies.
