Admiral extends Welsh rugby sponsorship

Insurer Admiral has extended its sponsorship of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) for another two years.

Admiral’s logo will adorn the Welsh national rugby team’s jerseys until 2015, meaning it will be in place at the next Rugby World Cup.

Admiral, Wales’s only FTSE 100 company,  started sponsoring Welsh rugby’s governing body back in 2010.

WRU chief executive Roger Lewis said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome Admiral on board for a further two years.

“It is always pleasing when a partner is interested in renewing sponsorship. It tells us we are doing something right and it is testament to the power of the WRU brand that a major company in Wales is now signed up with us until 2015.”
