Troubled Asset Relief Programme to run to next October
The Obama administration will today extend the life of the $700bn financial bailout fund, the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), until next October, Reuters reports.
It may pledge to use no more than $560bn from the fund, which has been used to prop up AIG and troubled banks.
