Alarm will launch a “starting point” risk management course this autumn.

It will be certified by the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH).

The Managing Risk in the Public Sector course will contain six training modules, which will be taught over four days, followed by a multiple-choice test and a work-site project.

The course, expected to cost £395 for members, can be used as a foundation for further study.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
