Albany ULR has signed a deal to provide Kwik-Fit Insurance Services' policyholders with a new motor uninsured loss recovery product.

Albany's product will ensure Kwik-Fit's policyholders have unrestricted access to advice and assistance following a no-fault motor accident. The policy will cover legal costs and disbursements if the policyholder has to take action against the responsible party.

It will also offer replacement vehicles, assistance in Europe and accommodation and transport if needed.

The assistance will be accessed through Kwik-Fit's insurance helpline.

The deal was struck as Albany announced plans to relocate its headquarters from Houghton-Le-Spring to Peterlee in January 2002.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
