Following the revision of its earning's forecast, AM Best said Munich Re's ratings would be unaffected.
Munich Re said it predicted earnings to be between €1.7bn and €1.9bn rather than between €1.8bn and €2bn.
The ratings agency said the company's financial strength rating of ‘A+' and issuer credit rating of ‘aa' was not affected.
