I have recently read your article about the CDC system (21 November, Insurance Times) and think that it is a great idea.
I work for Kent Ambulance NHS Trust and our fleet department do not have any scoring system in place when our vehicles are involved in an accident.
This type of system would be great for us as an ambulance service when our vehicles are involved in accident.
Our staff, after minimal training, would be able to use the CDC system to produce a code for not only our vehicle, but the third party as well. This would be very useful information for the fleet department and maybe the insurance company.
